Our newly refurbished residential service, Strawberry Fields, is located in the charming rural village of Wick, close to the coastal town of Littlehampton. The service provides residential accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.    

Strawberry Fields underwent a full refurbishment in 2020, which included fresh paintwork, redecoration, new furniture and flooring and new finishes\colours, which have helped lift the service and assist supported individuals with sensory needs.

The service has also been partially readapted to meet local need and to offer support to people who already have a greater level of independence over their lives and who are happier living in their own space. Therefore 3 self-contained flats, 2 with their own entrance and 1 which you access from inside the house, have been created to offer greater independence, choice and control for individuals with complex needs. There is also 5 separate en-suite bedrooms in the main house for those who need a dedicated level of support, as well as new quiet areas, an enclosed courtyard garden and a low sensory dining room.

Individuals are encouraged to gain greater confidence with everyday tasks such as cooking, washing and cleaning and help with the maintenance and running of the home. Social activities and events also take place at the home and visits from family and friends are encouraged. Strawberry Fields also has its own transport to access immediate local amenities and the nearby coast. Close by there is also a large activity centre with its own trampoline, gym and sensory room which is available to the people we support at Strawberry Fields.
