The Rivers is a residential service close to Farnborough town centre for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. The service also supports people with mobility issues and physical disabilities and is wheelchair accessible.

With a quiet, caring, inclusive environment, the friendly team focus on helping people achieve the goals and aspirations that are important to them.

The Rivers has six en-suite bedrooms, a lovely conservatory and a large spacious garden with a swing and trampoline.

Where challenging behaviours are present, the team work with our in-house Positive Behaviour Intervention team who provide dedicated strategies.

There are regular social activities within the home and with good transport links a few minutes’ walk away there are ample opportunities to enjoy all the social and leisure opportunities that Farnborough provides. This includes a nearby cinema, leisure centre, shopping centre, restaurants and cafes.

Individuals living at The Rivers enjoy swimming, exercise classes, eating out and a range of evening clubs. There is also a college nearby where individuals can learn new skills and they are also supported in finding voluntary work opportunities.

Individuals are encouraged to do as much as possible for themselves to improve their daily living skills and gain greater independence. This includes cooking and cleaning and having responsibilities within the running of the home.

Transition into the home is carefully planned at the individual’s own pace and we encourage other people living there to share their experiences. Friends and family are always welcome to visit and join in events and activities.
