Aberlour Primary School is a local authority mainstream school with an additional support for learning base called The Rainbow Room. Pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may be educated individually or in groups, in the base or in mainstream classes. The base is not autism-specific but we do have facilities for pupils with an ASD. The attached nursery in conjunction with the school offers pre-school provision for children with additional support needs thus ensuring continuity of education for pupils within the facility.
