Leicestershire Shared Lives is a highly personalised alternative to residential care and other more traditional forms of support. They provide longer term care and support, short breaks and day services from the homes of local carers who have been assessed and approved by the service. Also provides home from hospital care and interim support as a stepping stone into independent living. Carers share their lives, families, homes, interests and everyday experiences with the people they support. They are skilled, experienced, trained and committed individuals who have chosen to share their homes and lives with others. The Leicestershire Shared Lives Service is registered with and inspected by the Social Care Regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
